Our Story: More than an Ice Cream truck
When Ann Marie Lander moved to Exeter Township in 2013, she knew she wanted to make a positive impact in her community. Having already launched two successful small businesses, she decided to start one dedicated to a popular dessert — ice cream!
Ann Marie debuted her dessert truck, The Cherry on Top, in the Fall of 2019 with her oldest son, Lucas. Over the past four years, her truck has served at a variety of events, including birthday parties, fundraisers, showers, school functions, corporate events, weddings and anywhere else ice cream is desired. Her two oldest children have worked alongside her, while her two youngest have been the taste-testers!
In 2020, Ann Marie purchased a commercial lot in her hometown of Reading, PA, where she parks The Cherry on Top and opens to the public alongside other food trucks. As she approaches her fifth year in business, Ann Marie has launched a new line, The Cherry on Pop, offering hand-crafted and air-popped popcorn in a variety of flavors. She is committed to sharing delicious desserts and her love for her business for years to come.
